Summary

The following release notes relates to ADPOINT X1.4.1, released October 23th 2024.

Highlights

In the X1.4.1 release we have been focusing on making search performance better, minor improvements and general bug fixing.

New features

  • AD-19945 Support for video transcoding for Google Ad Manager.

  • AD-20250 Support for sending out emails for bookings that has been booked after the material deadline.

Improvements

  • AD-20660 Searches has in general been improved so they now perform up to twice as fast. Search speed always of course depend on the complexity.

  • AD-19757 Added the possibility to show ALL in the Admaterial widget in Ad tracking workspace.

  • AD-20323 Added the possibility to change the production code on one or more line items from the context menu which also will change to the correct proof flag.

  • AD-16641 ADPOINT shows only the latest version of a modified asset (ie psd-template) if it is saved with the same name.

  • AD-19984 The EQUALS operator now support multiple values in validation rules.
    For example a check on multiple dimensions can be done by entering “580x400, 580x500” to check for both sets of dimensions.

  • AD-20718 Added a hover when in quick search mode or on quick search chips in the search bar to display which fields are available for these.

  • AD-20664 Improved visibility of selections and added hover effect on selected line items

  • AD-20764 It is now possible to download multiple assets from the DAM workspace.

Bug fixes

  • AD-20493Fixed a bug that caused auto update to also update the interface when closing a campaign view or any drawer from the context menu.

  • AD-18771 Fixed a bug causing indd, psd and ai files to sometimes return an error when uploading them to ADPOINT.

  • AD-19873 Fixed a bug when creating booking mappings with bleed (field mappings) causing them not to be shown in the list and therefore removed when saving something else.

  • AD-20610Fixed a bug where the "+" parameter and the possibility to change units was missing from version X1.3 after the 26042024 release in the Admin Panel/Validation profile.

  • AD-20446Fixed a bug where it was not possible to select Proof count in the Admin Panel/Email Scheduler when using material deadline.

  • AD-20737Fixed a bug that caused drag 'n' drop from the Admaterials panel to a line item in Campaigns not to work. Also changed it to display matspec.name instead of matspec.id in the purple text "Attach materiale to lineitem …"

  • AD-20658 Fixed a bug where sending out auto emails from an E-mail scheduler rule was not sent if a manual mail from a line item was sent first.

  • AD-20630 Fixed a bug where user groups were wrongly displayed on an auto e-mail template even though auto e-mail templates don't contain user groups.

  • AD-20708 Fixed a bug when an update of the customer properties in adsearch was done in parallel with the booking import. Update is now done in the same thread as the booking import (after checking if adsearch updates are enabled).

  • AD-20687 Fixed a bug where harvesting the matspec url from the metadata of PDF file created from InDesign did not work when filesystem is running in the S3 environment.

  • AD-20786 Fixed a bug where a Workspace was set to search in "ALL" mode causing the UI to freeze after approx. 15 minutes.

  • AD-20745 Fixed a bug causing maintenance to wrongly delete org. files when using only a single “\“ in the path.

  • AD-20711 Fixed a bug causing the UI to sometimes crash when having a campaign drawer open in a workspace and switching between other workspaces.

  • AD-20665 Fixed a bug where sometimes ADPOINT failed to process a creative when lifting same ad material to multiple line items.

  • AD-20558 Fixed a bug where it was not possible to copy a user in the Admin Panel.

  • AD-20383 Fixed a bug where customers were able to approve an ad with error(s) upon resubmitting the same ad material and then removing the second one.

  • AD-19734 Fixed a bug where an entered e-mail in the CC: + BCC: fields could not be removed afterwards in the Admin Panel + Template Editor.

  • AD-20970 Fixed a bug where Initial file weight was not loaded correct.
