CAMPAIGN VIEW

The Campaign view provides an overview of all creatives in a line item. In campaign view, specific data for each creative is available alongside a general overview of the overall statuses of a line item.

Overview

Campaign view works for both digital and print creatives adapting its screens to show data specific to each type. Subject to data received from the booking system it is even possible to view campaigns that include both types, making it simple to track creatives in simple as well as more complex campaigns.

The line item list

The left side of the screen is the list of line items. Each line item contains one or more creatives. To see the creatives of each line item, simply press the line. This will open the order and pressing again will close it.

A print line item can only have one creative placeholder, while digital line items can have multiple placeholders.

The line item menu

The line item menu is available via the 3-dot menu placed in the header line of each line item. This menu has access to various actions on line item level.

Actions in the line item are similar to those of the Context menu but there is one new actions from version X1.4 that is unique for this Campaign view context menu (and also added as a new button in right corner when a line item is expanded:

Copy to

Copy to makes it possible to copy ad material from one line item to multiple line items within the same campaign and creative type. So if you have a digital ad material that should be copied to e.g. two other line items it is now possible in a very fast and easy way like this:

INFO: If some of the line items in a campaign is hidden because of a setting set to hide if there is x amount of them it is needed to load all line items before the “Copy to” functionality will be visible:

WARNING: For now (in X1.4) this feature can either be accessed by all users or no users. We are working on a solution to be able to control access pr. user role and we are hoping it will be ready in the X1.5 version.

Creative placeholders

Inside a line item, there are one or more placeholders to which creatives are or can be uploaded.

If a placeholder does not yet have a creative, a dotted box indicating the area to which a creative should be dragged is shown. Also the expected dimensions of the creative is show.

If a creative is present, a preview of it is shown in the placeholder.

Under the preview area, typically an external ID or order number and a status for the line item is shown. For an explanation of statuses, please go the the status explanation.

At the bottom of the placeholder, the currently available tools are shown.

Large preview

Click the preview to open a larger preview of the creative. See the description of the large preview below.

3rd party tags (for digital creatives only)

The <> icon is used to open a dialog where a 3rd party tag can be entered.

Delete

The trashcan icon is used to delete the current version of the creative. If there are multiple creative versions, the next version will be displayed.

If the placeholder is an optional placeholder at it does not have a creative, it will be deleted.

Create optional creative place (for digital creatives only)

This button allows optional creatives to be added to digital line items. This is useful if there is a need to upload an additional creative - ie. in relation to performance driven campaigns. To delete an optional creative placeholder, press the delete icon (trashcan) on an empty optional creative placeholder.

HINT: To filter line items by type, use the filter menu in the top right-hand corner of the line item.

Supported asset file types

Most asset file types are accepted by ADPOINT. Text documents can be uploaded but a preview will not be generated. Executable files and certain system file formats are not accepted. Local configuration may impact the file types accepted.

Tag sheets and 3rd party tags

For digital creatives it is possible to upload spreadsheet files containing multiple 3rd party tags. ADPOINT automatically creates placeholders and imports the creatives represented by tags found in the tagsheet.
While ADPOINT accepts most tag sheet formats, not all formats are supported. Please contact your system administrator if you have a tag sheet format that should be supported.
